PRL Paper on coupling spin qubits to mechanical resonators

Leipzig, 26th June 2024

Our first paper with Leipzig university affiliation is now out in Physical Review Letters. The paper titled Toward programmable quantum processors based on spin qubits with mechanically mediated interactions and transport shows the first steps on how spin qubits can be coupled to a mechanical resonator. Crucial was here to use a single nuclear spin as quantum memory to store the phase information in a robust way and to bridge the long scanning times required in the protocol.
